OUR MISSION STATEMENT

As a downtown church serving all of Hot Springs since 1876, we the members of the First Presbyterian Church, by God’s grace, commit our mission as follows:

  • To set our standards and try to live our lives according to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
  • To be His faithful evangelists, exhibiting the workings of the Kingdom of Heaven by sharing the news of God’s love and eternal life.
  • To proclaim the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as the only Savior and Lord.
  • To provide worship services and celebration of the Holy Sacraments to all children of God.
  • To care actively for the spiritual, material, and intellectual needs of our congregation, our local community, and our world.
